According to the recent figures posted by Public Health England the Isle of Wight claims the second lowest case rate of Covid 19 in the UK. As of Monday 30th March.
- Rutland: 2
- Isle of Wight: 11 joint with Kingston upon Hull: 11
- Hartlepool: 12
To give you an idea, the top 3 in the country are:
- Birmingham: 578
- Hampshire: 498
- Sheffield: 428
As you can see Hampshire is ranked in the top 3 areas in the country, so why are the ferries still running when many people are travelling from Hampshire?
